Default My EF3 build b16a+boost

update on civic i got ef9 vtec hub on 1 side , it fits so thats good :D


well thats both sides done now

ef9 hubs and brakes fitted aswell as ef9 struts

went to put on the steelies wheels i had but.....................

now they dont fit lol brakes are too big lol

picked up a manual steering rack off parts car civic from out back of workshop


removed all power steering setup from engine bay and fitted manual steering rack all in tonight , all works mint

just taped all wires and cables back ready to steam clean engine bay ,

also beat the rear x member to fit b16a rear bracket in and dented for alternator clearance

also pryed open pass mount and grinded up mount for snug fit , should be pre fittting motor this friday night

well b16a is allbolted in

i cut old gearbox side mount off and mocked motor up in place then rewelded them back on ,

also rear engine mount bracket i slotted the hole so it slid back about 20-30mm

also fitted axles they all corret length here some pics olny took motor in out about 5 times lol

had to get the alternator clearance right to , bash in chassis under the square hole thing








cheers to jason and steve who gave me a hand :wink: and theo/nick for engine hoist :wink:

intercooler and tial wastegate arrived today !!!

should be fitting it all up on saturday

me and casey just got b16a running and sounds pretty good !!!!

whipped up a manifold today after couple hours work ! :D

came up not too bad , im wrapped with it , probly best one ive made so far







yeah coming together really quickly i just gotta keep on it

, just stock gasket replaced .

standard compression on 5psi willl be sweet

5 should be plenty :D

well welded it all up today and heat painted it black

also welded pipe on for extrnal wastegate and made all flanges up











more progress

well today after work i tacked up my dump pipe

just gotta run external into it and fit to exhaust flange and weld it up , i;ll do that tomo night cant be bothered doing anymore tonight

just welded up dump pipe , and made external gate dump pipe and welded it into dump pipe , man its tight and it was a mission

but its all on now and fits mint !

dont know much bout turbo's but if for some reason you got to take off youe waste gate how will you do this with your dumptube positioned that way?

yeah wastegate unbolts comes off separte 4 bolts its not welded in place i just welded dump pipe to dump pipe

i know a little about turbo's. although very creative. you are gonna have serious problems with your setup. just sloppy!!!!

na that won't spike ae ive run worse flow than that before never spiked
