PR3 vs PW0

Default PR3 vs PW0

i just read that a PR3 only uses 1 oxygen sensor and that the PW0 uses 2 oxygen sensors? is that true? im curious cuz im ready to wire up my vtec in my ls vtec. or does anyone kno how to bypass the 2nd o2 sensor?

You can bypass it by either chipping the ecu, or hooking up the one o2 sensor to both o2 sensor lines from the ecu.

But neither way is right. For good fuel economy, obd0 computers (eg pr3 and pw0) need two o2 sensors to tune cylinders 1 and 3 and cylinders 2 and 4 independently. If you don't have the two o2 sensors properly wired and close to the exhaust ports (because they are one wire unheated o2 sensors) you will run rich and you will not see 30+mpg out of your b series engine...

You can use BRE to tune either ecu. The O2 sensors can be disabled in BRE.

Like admin87 said, the PR3 is easier to chip.
