i've painted a few valve covers and now i finally got my hands on some VHT wrinkle paint.. i was wondering if i should clear over it like i would on other smooth glossy finishes... i just dont want it to go to waste!

You can, just make sure it's 500 degrees heat resistant clear coat.

Might kinda suck if its REALLY wrinkled. Clear could puddle up in the pits. You dont need it to be cleared to protect it though if thats your reasoning.
