I am stumped and stuck between two choices, I currently have an eh2 (eg6) hatch, completely stock, and plan's to go w/a gsr swap, if I keep it. But I've come across an opportunity to trade my car for an 89 crx hf w/a b16. Your guy's opinions will help my decision, btw it'll be a daily driven car, not a track or circuit car. What yall think? worth the trade, eh2 w/a gsr swap= a bit of $$$, or do the straight trade= no $$$, except for registration, smog, etc.

 

the HF is 1700 pounds i'd go with that if its clean

 

5G ftw. I don't think I'd be able to stand a B16 HF for a daily.

 

the ef's are pretty light and fast. My buddy has a 89 ef si w/ a bone stock d16a6 and he keeps up with stock gsr's...

As do I... no would would I trade my 5g hatch (if I had one) for a CRX.

 

Get the rex.... I had a 88 si and it was the best car i ever owned... Should have never sold it.

 

Just remember how old an EF chassis actually is.

i say keep it. u dont wanna buy some one elses project. just do ur own. besides ull be alot happier with the gsr than the b16.

not really a fan of hatches, but get what you think is better to you, dont make a call because of everyone else, you have to drive it

I would hope a thread like this is not so much of "you vote, I'll drive", but instead that maybe others will bring up reasons to think about why to buy one car or not to buy one car.
