Oh what a mess.... *Pics!*
Ok so here's the story:
A friend calls me up and tells me he's got a D16Y8-T in his 91 CRX. He's already got the turbo kit on it, he just needs it all wired up. So I learn that he just finally got it back from the shop after it was supposed to be wired, but they never did it. So he brings me this:

What a mess I have here. Lets see some close ups:

So already, I see that the injector resistor box needs to be wired back on, and all those HORRID crimps need to be soldered/heat shrinked....
Well, after checking out the harness for a while, I decide to go look at the car. So I go to his house, and this is what I see:

The beautiful D15B6. Where's the D16Y8 and the turbo? Soon to find out, it's not in the car yet, I look in the shed, and it's hanging there. Olllllrighty. So I wonder, why won't the harness that's already in the bay work? Well, because it's a Si harness
But wait, there's more! Beside the car lies:

A PM5, a PM8, and some other harness that I didn't even bother asking about....
SO! I'm lost. I guess the D15B6 and the Y8 have the same harness? According to him, the harness he gave me is a DX harness. Sooo... i'm converting from DX, to HF?
Help?

start fresh - go to a junk yard and try to find the proper harness for the engine. i wouldn't go near a mess of wire like that.
or you can give the shop a piece of your mind and have them do it over.
