Default 2000 Acura Integra GS/GS-R

Hey Honda-Tech,

Been on the forum for a few months now, not really a big post ***** lol, anyways thought I would share with you guys my pride and joy, and some of the time my biggest headache lol.

So here it is, its a 2000 Acura Integra GS/GS-R...

2000 Acura Integra GS/GS-R:

Vogue Silver
IT-R OEM Fr. Lip
Painted OEM Side Skirts (rocker panels w/e you wanna call them lol)
Shaved Hatch (thinking c/f aswell as the hood but still havent made up my mind)

ENGINE:
Full 98 JDM GS-R Swap
MSD Ignition 8.5mm Spark Plug Wires
Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Skunk2 68mm Throttle Body
Injen IT-R Cold Air Intake
Edelbrock IT-R Header
2.25" Piping into a stock muffler
Chipped P28 (waiting for hondata)
Skunk2 Cam Plug

SUSPENSION:
Tien S/S Coilovers (came with the car)
Comptech Fr. Strut Tower Bar
IT-R Trunk Bar
Suspension Techniques 26mm Fr. Sway Bar
IT-R 24mm Rr. Sway Bar
ASR Subframe Reinforcement Brace
Skunk2 Rear Lower Control Arms

BRAKES:
Earl's Stainless Steel Braided Lines (possibly the best money I have put into this car yet)
PowerSlot Slotted Rotors (on all four corners)
Hawk HP Plus Brake Pads (love how they grip, but just way too much brake dust for my liking. can anyone suggest a good brake pad that wont produce a lot of brake dust, possibly none lol???)

WHEELS/TIRES:
15" OEM GS-R Blades (just got them re-done this past spring)
205/50/15 Falken ZIEX 512 (by far the worst money I've spent on this car)
16" Rota C8 (were black, i have them sanded down ready for paint, not sure what color to do... suggestions???)

LIGHTING/ICE:
5000K McCullough HID Kit
Compustar 2-Way Alarm/Starter
Alpine CDA-9853 HeadUnit
Alpine iPod Adapter
JL Audio Speakers
JL Audio 10" W0 Sub

OTHER:
Skunk2 Shift ****
B&M Short Throw Shifter
IT-R Red Stiching Shift Boot
Skunk2 Titanium Lug Nut Set
J's Racing Carbon Fibre Spark Plug Wire Cover
IT-R Valve Cover
IT-R Red Badges
IT-R Carbon Fibre Gauge Cluster Bezel (painted the needles yellow while I was at it too)
Spoon Sports Rad Cap

I'm sure I'm missing a few more peices, but that's all I can think of right now.

PICTURES:

yes that is a ferrari f430 that is pulled over behind me lol.

So that's it, please enjoy and feel free to throw out some suggestions (especially on brake pads and a new color for the ROTAS).

I'll get some interior shots when I get back from my vacation and clean the interior.

Alex

I really like it.

My 97 VSM is getting the 98+ conversion soon. I love the HIDs. Where'd you get them?

Possibly one of the cleanest DC's I've seen...

IMO, I would keep the Rotas black...

Love the car, good job on it... ...

it's lowered with a lip.

check out the numerous dc threads in the a/c forum and then say that it's still the cleanest one you've seen.

here's a few pix of the interior as I promised.

I try to have it looking like this most of the time.

cluster, with the IT-R Carbon Fibre Bezel and yellow needles.

skunk2 ****, IT-R boot, Alpine head unit.

IT-R trunk bar, JL sub.

there you guys go please keep the comments coming.

good looking car,,, how do the tein SS ride? i got a set of H&R sport springs but i thinking coilovers..not low enough to make it look good. and i need a bit stiffer.

what kind of exhaust u running?
interior is CLEAN, every car should be like that, i hate it when ppl's **** is dirty as hell. i just picked up a 99 LS and i'm trying to make it as clean as yours

hey mang thanx for the comments, i try hard cuz i spend a lot of time in there, so i dont like sitting in filth lol, but its hard, especially when driving other people around, cuz they dont really give a ****, and walk in with dirty shoes, and man im not trying to show that im pissed off, but christ its just eating from the inside out lol.

anyways exhaust is 2.25" piping into a rsx-s muffler.

I love the tien's. the ride comfort is actually prety good, there's a few bumps in the city that destroy me lol but i cant complain since the car is prety slammed.

as for interior, you're lucky sicne u got black. i have tan but i can't complain since i got a good deal on my 99LS....so yea.

supracrx: honestly man yeah the coilovers made a difference, but not a crazy difference, honestly if you want a huge difference there's nothing better I could suggest but the IT-R 22mm Rear Sway Bar with the ASR Subframe Reinforcement Plate.

forumnoobie: thanx for the comment, and yeah that is a Red Convertible Ferrari F430 pulled over behind me, I'm guesssing he was going prety fast, just cuz when he finally did come to a stop right there at the car wash three cops werent very far behind lol.

Clean ride.
