B18A Into A 95 Civic Coupe Question!! **HELP**

Default B18A Into A 95 Civic Coupe Question!! **HELP**

alright, i found a b18a motor+tranny and looked into it and found its from a 92 integra i had been lookin for a b18B cause i was told its an easy just drop in and go swap so my question is what would i need to do to swap in the B18A

he emailed me and had said this....

it comes out of a 92 integra i have the monts and the wiring on thr motor ready to plug in and the ecu the trani and motor are in great shape i dont have the wireing harness from the car

so i was just tryin to figure out what i need to do to install it and is it gonna be a big hassel hes asking $1000 but i think i could get him down to about $600 so i guess my question is....is it worth it???

if you can get him down to 600 then yes if not keep looking..ls motors come by the dozen and come by cheaper also...dont rush into these type of things make sure u want it and its in good shape..

what all do i have to do to get this motor in my 95 coupe i guess the wiring and the engine mounts?

The mounts won't work.

The transmission won't work.

The ECU will work and you don't need any additional wiring.

$1000 for a 15 year old B18A drivetrain with probably 18 gazillion miles? Yeah, I bought one of those 3 years ago for $350. Tell that guy to go pound salt.

Go look for a B18B instead.
