CRX Door Question.
Will 1988 CRX Si doors (whole assembly) swap onto a 1990 CRX Si? I already know about the seatbelts being door mounted on 89-91 CRX Si's but I have been looking around to find out if I can simply swap some 88 Si doors on my 90 Si. Thanks in advance.

x2, like the moulding on the door mainly once you deal with the seatbelt differences. but it will physically bolt up to your 90-91. I personally would like to convert to the 88s one day due to the lighter wieght and the fact the doormounted seatbelts are actually way more unsafe than the 88 style and the "everywhere else in the world but here style" for that matter.....damn USDM DOT!!!

The problem is how are you going to mount the 88 seat belts to your 90-91 EF?
maybe heilcoil

I knew about the differences in the moldings but I also knew that they were interchangable. As for the seatbelts, I have that taken care of already. Well my main question has been answered, however, is that it? The seatbelts and moldings, I mean, being the only problems?
As the other guy stated, the huge difference in door weight is my main reason for wanting to swap over the doors. However, I also wanted to be able to rock the 88 door panels for clearance issues with the autopower rollbar I am ordering soon. And the rollbar plays in with my seatbelt issue.
I was able to weigh my CRX a day ago and came in at 1915 with no driver. I want to break 1850 and swapping doors would be a help with that...

I have heard of 1/2 the holes being threaded but not all. I think there are three holes per side If I remeber correclty, are you saying all 6 holes were threaded?? I need to check mine but that would be sweet as hell if all 6 were threaded (though not holding my breath).
