I have yet to bounce off the rev limiter, is it there?
I have owned the 00 GSR for almost a year and I have yet to "bounce" off the rev limiter. I used to hit it daily in the civic turbo (7k).
The reason I ask, is I just saw an 8297 RPM in my datalogs. I did not notice any rev limiter. This is a stock OBD2-b ecu. Does anyone else make it 100 RPM past the rev limiter without it kicking in?

he said it was with his old civic that was turbo'd
what are you using to datalog, see if you can take it to 8500, as the factory tachometer is known to be innaccurate that high

well i see he has it turboed if its the same car in his sig.... what do you have for tuning?? the greddy emanage?
eManage injection and ignition on a stock p72 ECU.
I'd rather not rev to 8500 and find out it's not there. Yeah it should be there. I don't think you can just chip obd2 to up the rev limiter and I don't think the ecu has ever been opened up either. Oh well, I'll just continue to shift safely and wonder if it's there

You need to rev at ~8300-8400rpm indicated (on stock tack) and you'll find the limiter. It's best not to bounce off it if you can help it.
