o2 heater wires???

Default o2 heater wires???

i have a 98 civic ex. my car is givin a code ofp0141 witch is o2 sensor bank heater wire malfuntion. my hear wire has 14.6 volts and a great ground. i also have a brand new o2 sensor. and my fuse for the heater wires is good. what the hell is the problem here... please help i need an inspection

What kind of O2 sensor? did you end up splicing it to fit? Do the wire colors match?

i used a universal o2 sensor, no the colors dont match but it cam with a paper that showed what colors go where. i dont thin its the sensor cuz my other one reads the same code

Its not the sensor, its your wiring to it, you probably botched that, as it is the only reasonable explanation as to why your are throwing that code, unless you suspect the O2 is bad.

Universal sensors are junk.

Go buy a proper 4-wire Denso or NTK oxygen sensor with the proper connector. It's not going to be cheap, but it's going to work. Which is the point.

MMM not exactly. I used a Denso 4-wire Universal and spliced the wires together and had no problem at all.
