Steering wheel change help
Ok, getting ready to change my stock gs-r wheel with a Momo Competition. I have a couple questions. Also, tell me if I'm wrong in my assumptions... I know to disconnect the battery for 15min before removal and I understand the removal steps (I think). As for my airbag:
1. Of course I know I won't have one anymore, but is it possible to keep the passenger airbag operational? I was planning to pull the SRS fuse and forget about it, but that will probably take the operation away from the passenger one.
2. So, should I leave everything attached and just take the SRS bulb outta my gauge pod? Any suggestions welcome...
3. Any suggestions as to what to do with my Cruise Control buttons would be appreciated. Someone here has to have relocated it somewhere in a steering wheel change. Thanks guys!

The cruise buttons might take some work, since I believe they operate through that cable reel behind the stock steering wheel (turn the wheel and you'll see it). That and fear of being slapped w/ big fines or not being covered by insurance w/o an airbag are the main reasons why I won't change my wheel, even though I would really love one (had an aftermarket wheel on my old car and really loved it, now I miss it).
1) IF you take the drivers bag out the passsenger is NOT operational.
2) You can keep the cruise control. I relocated mine under the dash right next to the maintenance switch. The srs reel will need to be re-routed there. Also the horn will need to be wired up as well.
PS take the srs bulb out of the dash too...
