ok so i have a 88 civic dx hatch thats converted to obd1 with a chipped p28 with a ls base map burn. so it has a semi built ls motor in it. (b18a1) i had the car running with a stock ls motor for like 20,000+ miles when i swapped in a built motor and now i have a weird misfire. i put the same wires, dizzy, plugs on the new motor and it still did it and i tryed different plugs and wires and it didnt change. i also tryed the tps sensor and no change. i also replaced the iacv and it didnt change.

so what its doing, at idle if you give it a little gas it stops at like 1700 rpms and it will stay there bouncing between 1500-1700 rpms until you either let off or give it more gas. and when driving if you try and cruise just a little bit on the gas it will start to miss and jerk the whole car. it will do this at any speed below 60mph. above 60mph it wont miss or jerk the car.

im out of ideas on what this could be. all i did was swap one ls motor for another one so why this weird miss?

TPS sensor..........And or check the continance in the battery cables too.

 

i already did the tps and no go. the power and ground wires were replaced like a month ago.
