I have a 98 coupe with stock b16 and car front end hop's, its kinda hard to explain, under heavy acceleration. it almost feels like a non balanced tire but its only under heavy acceleratinon. does anyone have any idea what this could be. it just recently started happening help is greatly appreciated Thanks!!!

wheel hop is what it sounds like. get some stiffer mounts and/or inserts will help a bit

 

Its not wheel hop because the tires have traction the whole time. the motor has been in the car for about 6 months and this just started about 2 weeks ago. its especially bad in 2nd gear @ hight rpm under heavy acceleration.

hit anything? curb?

 

Checked motor mounts there solid. no didn't hit a curb or anything but a friend said maybe intermediate shaft might be bad and i think that would make sense anybody agree???
