Default I Need A New VTEC Head. Which One Should i buy?

i have a gsr and the #4 cylinder spark plug got stripped and i need to buy a new head. i have a 95 b18c1. which is the best head to throw on it?thanks

b16a?
b16a2?
gsr?

Which one is better for my Setup??

if thats all that is wrong with it just take it off and have a machine shop rethread it for you,

i did but the 14mm tap threaded it too big and the sparkk plug and sleve go all the way through the threads. and they said it was too close to the valves and they wouldnt be able to weld it cuz the ycant get up in there. i was like WTF. i am going to takke it to another shop in LA. GAY *** SPARKK PLUG THREAD TAPPER

see if they can put a helicoal in that should fix it.

i dont think u can use a helicoil becouse all it really is, is like a spring that get screwed in backwords. it will not seal it up and when u go to change ur spark plugs the coil will come out with it. i would say get a new head. what happens if the helicoil falls out in ur motor u will be lookin for more than a head when that happens!!!

You could weld the hole and retap.

The threads do not seal a spark plug.

I say go with the GSR head. I've only read about b16 and how they don't provide as much power as the GSR. Correct me if I'm wrong.

i read in a honda tuning that the gsr head has a better design for na cars and the b16/type r is best for boost
something to do with the port designs
so i hope that helps in you decision
also how did you strip the thread??? how much did you tighten it

The best B16 or ITR that you can afford and then use your GSR cams if it didn't come with CTR's or ITR's.

who gives a **** if it screams, if he slaps that b16 head on the gsr block hes going to lose compression.

I've got a complete vtec (B16) head for sale. Intake, sensors, tps, throttlebody, type-r cams, vtec solenoid, aem cam gears, etc. PM me if interested.

mine is stock with obd-2 and $420 and complete and used you can look to inspect it..er bring tools.. you get your money back for shipping? expletive it, its over. im new, where is the for-sale forum.
