I took my civic in to get the '97 gsr engine certified by the BAR and they said I had the wrong charcoal canister on. I have a canister that has some electronic wiring to it and they one I'm supposed to have doesn't have the purge on it.

Anyhoo, i thought all obd2 integras had the same charcoal canister. Can anyone confirm that the 96-97 integras have the same evap setup as the 98-01?

 

nevermind, i just took a look at a stock '97 integra and the charcoal canister is not the one with the electronic purge plug on it.
