Is it worth putting money into this...
I have a 1994 milano red integra LS. Here is the rundown on the history of this car:
I'm 19 now going on 20 in november...
I bought it when I was 16 for $3500 and i was an eager teenager for an integra. the car was primered and a lot of **** was fucked up but the interior was mint (LS black cloth). I paid $800 for some quick fix body work/paint job in the bronx. I spent about a year making things stock again and bought an rsr ex mag for $500, kyb agxs for $300, ground control coil overs for $200, srr lcas/lower tie bar/strut bar for about $1000 in total for the car. I just replaced the clutch, the timing belt went some time ago but thats fine now too. basically the car runs great, but obviously, the paint job is messing up now and the quater panels are starting to rust. I hit a mailbox too last year and knocked off my pass side mirror as well as scratching the whole side of the car and denting the pass fender so i replaced both mirrors with carbon fiber spoon mirrors. My mom also backed into the pass side taillight and dented the quater panel
I was quoted $2500 by some guy as a side job to fix all the rust and dings and dents and then paint the car correctly. I'm pretty sure thats a really good price but i was wondering if its worth it. I dont have $$ for another car and I do love my integra. Just wanted some opinions.
here are some pics last summer when i painted my ls webs:

Honestly it dosent look that bad, just do some touch up paint, then down the road, you could do a full paint job, But other small **** will hapen to it, unless you can make her your garage queen.
i have to agree, it doesn't look that bad...
if you intend on keeping this car for a long time and not making it any faster then go for it... otherwise you could make that car a lot faster with that kind of money, then paint it farther down the road.

You think so? I was planning on buying a vtec head farther down the road and doing ls/vtec. I think its actually bad lol being around friends who have fast/clean cars. My only big thing is that there is rust forming, these pictures are a year old. I go to school up in binghamton and the snow definitely sped the rusting up and I go back to school in two weeks... You also probably cant tell but the paint is single staged and touch up paint wouldnt match it

if all the electrical wiring is good and the cost for damage repairs does not exceed the value of the car, do it.
if not, you're gonna spend more now and not get it back in return later if you try to sell since buyers won't care for the "extra" stuff more than the value of the car itself.
think about it first.

i look at it like... if I sold it now, with the rusting in the quater pannels no one would pay more than $4000... if I spent an extra $2500 to make the body/paint mint, then maybe i could sell the car for 5000-6000 dollars. I'd kind of break even but I'd feel happier while owning the car.
