Default Driveline

So guys, I've got a possible situation for you all.

Driving down the road, when I shift(ie clutch 1/2 in, gas being pushed in) I heard thumps...4-6 rapid thumps. Then once I let off the clutch it went away. This happened consistantly for a week then when I was driving it happened like clockwork, then all of a sudden in the middle of 2nd gear the whole thing let go and I had no traction I couldn't drive me vehicle. We put it in the race trailer bring it home, I try it again...I can move(I only moved 5 feet in my driveway, but whatever)...Couple days later, I couldn't drive it again(mind you the car had sat I never drove it out of my driveway since), so last night I go to take out the tranny, and my CV boot is ripped...

So what do you think it is, Axle(which I bought a new one anyways), tranny, or clutch?

Check to see if the axle is pulling out of the differential.

It's got a little bit of play. I replaced the pass axle tonight and it didn't solve my problem.
