Anybody have any idea what this is? I've never heard of an Integra LS Type-X before?!
Is this guy for real? 14 of 15 made? WTF?

I hate it when people make up bulls*it names for their cars so that they can sell it faster. What really yanks my chain is that some poor sap is going to fall for it and think he's got something more rare than the type-r...when in fact he's got nothing but an RS with rims!!
Oh well...Fug it...I'm going to bed!
Peace

The VIN says its a canadian SE, in the us its just an RS.

Its just an aftermarket package by a dealer. They put on lowering springs, an exhaust, some stickers and sold it for more. Its not an integra model manufactured by Honda.

This is a Canadian car. The package was thru a dealer in B.C. There were
15 of these done. The package included the exhaust, lowered suspension and
decals. Call Burrard Acura in Canada. That is where the car was first
bought.

Clearly a RS. The unpainted side moldings easily give it away. The "Type-X" is either a dealer package or something that the owner made up. The word "Extreme" is ridiculously overused nowadays, and I bet that's what the 'X' is for; it's pretty easy to find stickers relating to the word Extreme. I'd bet it's a dealer option, and that would explain the "#14 of 15 made" statement. I could make up some unique name, slap stickers on my car, and say it is "#1 of 1 made". It's just a marketing trick.
I know a guy that bought a car from "Extreme Auto Sales" and it came with a big cheesy "eXtreme" windshield banner that was put on all crooked and messed up. At least the "Type-X" stickers are more subtle, but it's still another marketing trick.

What's up with Candian Honda's being less than their US conterparts with the same name? Their LS is our RS, their Civic Si is our slow-tec EX, etc. Could I take my LS up there and say it's a Candian GS-R or Type-R? lol
