Did you get a rub-n-tug this morning Max, you're not one to be chipper on a Monday.

OP, you need to tell use what D16 motor (what's after the D16? Like D16A6, D16Z6, etc.) and what trim level hatch it's going into (STD, DX or Si).

So even if you need to go to your car write down what car you have and if you have MPFI or DPFI and then double check what motor you are getting it'll be the only way we can help.

If you mistate what kinda motor you are getting our advice might set you the wrong way.

With a sohc vtec swap, my own feelings best to do is go to OBD1 and get a harness from boomslang or rywire.

ok that aside, use the search on sohc vtec swaps. The y8 is a little less liked then the z6 but that's not really an issue for a basic swap.

You will need at very least to wire up mpfi. I do reccomend going obd1, search on that as well having obd1 makes the motor run better much eaiser to tune and it's all ready and done unlike hacking into running vtec off a switch or something like some do.

So just hit the stickies all the info you need is there any thing else you may want or need search for it.

Best of luck.
