ANYONE BREAKING A CRX DELSOL??
Hi,
Anyone breaking a crx delsol (electric roof) or know of a place where I can get 2nd hand parts from? I live in the U.k (great britiain)
The part im after is the tilt roof motor mechanism (the one that lifts the roof up when your sitting inside, not the boot motor)
cheers
Dave

It's called parting out here across the pond.
Try out http://hondapartsdeals.com. That's a pretty good site. There might be a couple others that are that comprehensive, but I prefer this one.

You're not going to find the transtop parts in the US (which most of the members here are in the US). USDM del Sols (aka CRXes) didn't come with the transtop. Anyone who has one here either spent a lot of money to get a car with the transtop shipped here or spent a lot more money to get it shipped here and then installed into their car.
I could have sworn that I saw one on Hmotorsonline.com not too long ago (couple weeks). If they have it, it will cost you an arm and a leg and possibly your first born.
If there were a JDM site selling them, I'm not sure they'd part out just that motor.
Do they sell it in markets besides Japan? Were they sold in Europe? I could look it up, but I'm not sure if it was only certain years and trims. This might be easier to find in a junkyard (where they don't care so much if you take one part of a large system) or straight from Honda.
Maybe the part is even found in some other model.
