Will it be a good idea or am i just wasting time and money if i put itr headers on my LS.
I know it's a direct bolt on but will I gain a little more horsepower.......
Is it comparable to aftermarket headers?.........
My car likes to rev high even tho i only redline at 7200.
any comments/comments welcome
TIA

waste of cash.

if your going to do it, do it right.

upgrade the headers, valve springs, valve retainers. makes power all the way up to 8100-8200 or so

i wouldnt even suggest the itr items. i would go aftermarket since you will be spending all that cash anyhow.

I think the itr gives decent gain on the ls
since ls motors arent tuned for high end power.
I have one on mine, got it for $90 two years ago
I can say that it consistanly lowered my et by
0.2, not bad huh?
If you are doing basic bolt ons its worth the cash depending on
how much you pay for it.
If you want to build type r eater
a aftermarket 4-1 like the jdm dc is a better option.
Depends what your goal is..

wow i'm completely out of it. it was too late.

sorry, you said header. I was thinking of cams. for me.

yeah, i suppose it would give you gains provided your bottle neck is not your exhaust system.

honestly i'd suggest going aftermarket.

I used to have a DC 2pc 4-2-1 header on my LS motor. I let one of my friends borrow the DC header and I used his stock exhaust manifold (the reason why is a long story).
Anyway, I couldnt feel a difference at all. No loss or gain.

Id say, if you can find one for a great deal, do it.
