If a airbag blows do you have to replace the cable reel also? Thank ive searched but didnt find the answer to this specific question

I've wondered this myself before. I don't have a definite answer for you, but I do have some thoughts. The cable reel is just wiring. If the wiring is good, then why replace it? If a more definite answer doesn't come along, I'd suggest running a continuity check on the wiring, and if it's still good, then just use the old one..... then again, they aren't that expensive to just go ahead and replace it if you have a new/used one.
