the S is a on the other side of the spectrum. If your looking for something to go in a straight line with the S prolly isn't it although it can do it. The S is something you really need to understand to appreciate.

I was contemplating an 07 Si sedan and an S2000. I decided on the S2000 although I came from a GSR sedan. Its cheaper

 

If you are asking about racing in a straight line, my friend owns an 07 si sedan, and i pulled on him. BUT, that's my own personal experience. I also pulled on a coupe.

HAHAHAHA I met someone that was driving one today. We discussed just that. I think the AP1 would win, because the power numbers are similar, but the AP1 is lighter and has the RWD advantage.

Power is not similar. S2000 makes to the wheels ABOUT what the Si has at the crank.

i think it boils down to if you need the backseat or not. will you be carrying people ( other than a passenger) and what not

s2k quoted whp from may 2007 issue of import tuner/power pages. si whp found on google 07 si sedan dyno numbers. im gonna run my boy (2K2S2K) this weekend, so we can put this **** to rest. im preparing for a whoopin but hopefully i can hang with the ap1 for a lil bit!

ha, your first problem is that you are reading import tuner, and only in your dreams would an S vs. an SI stock vs. stock be that close.

add about 20 whp to that S, and then maybe your in the ballpark buddy

 

ive seen a race with 2door Si actually against a S2K, Si had a intake, and S2K was running some single exhaust so fairly both aftermarket HP output
