Hey all,

My Accord EX V6 worked just fine last night. I got up and went to try and start it this morning and it clicks rapidly but does not turn over and thus does not start. I tried to jump it just in case the battery was too low to turn the car over, but that didnt seem to help. If anyone has experienced this before and knows what the problem is please let me know. The car is still under its extended warranty...so hopefully it is covered ...whatever it is.

hit the starter with a hammer, if it starts, repalce starter.

 

If you have an extended warranty take it to the shop. Don't do anything except jump it.

 

Thats what I figured....It must be something to do with the starter...car has plenty of battery left...and with the warranty being a bumper to bumper we should be in good shape.
