Default 06 rsx base .. whats a good power yielding exhaust thats not too loud?

I need something that sounds great but isn't too loud. Price really isn't an issue, I just want it to compare to the best power yielding exhausts but not sound ricey. Post up your experiences and what you reccomend.

Also if you guys know a good site with sound clips of exhausts please feel free to post it up . THanks

Don't expect a lot of power out of an exhaust, especially one that's kinda quiet. So with that said, have someone make you a 2.25" B-pipe with no resonator and connect it up to the OEM muffler. That'll give better sound and atouch more power, plus be cheaper on the pocketbook.

i agree w/wat ur saying but an exhaust doesnt have to be super loud to be the best performing exhaust out there w/dat being said do u also mean dat those cheap mom and pop shop exhausts are better than like tanabe blue medallion and 5zigen's pro racer a-spec cuz thats the one that i have and it gives a nice deep hollow tone...listen for yourself

I just put my Greddy Evo 2 exhaust on yesterday and I got it for 490 shipped on ebay and it took about an hour to put it on and I love it, it sounds amazing and I notice just a little more power in the midrange, look into it

Is the greddy not too loud when your just cruising around? I mean when I gas it I want it to sound nice / powerful but when I'm chilling I need to stay incognito

you need x clips for HID's which whould be available on xenondepot.com or you can make some out of your stock bulb adapters. other than that everything else is plug and play, you'd have to be a retard to not be able to figure it out

Honestly, Why spend over $550 when you can have a resonatorless B-pipe made for $100 and get the same effect?

Mate that with an RSX-S axle-back and you have a cheap OEM performance exhaust for less than half the cost. And it really sounds nice.

Just a suggestion, but for my Type-S I am using a JDM axle-back and a B-pipe sans resonator and it sounds killer. Nice and quiet on the highway, but it rips when you get on the gas. Not to mention the police don't look at it twice.

If money is not an issue I would recommend the toda cat back. Its a unique look, awesome sound, awesome gains. 8 WHP and 4 Tq is pretty good for just a cat back. It is made for the Type S only but if you find a stock type s header and cat it will bolt up.
