I know these questions come up a lot, but I have searched and looked around and havent found any solid answers, does anyone have dyno results of ice box v. AEM CAI?? Which is better.
What is the best header setup? I saw the "header shootout" post, is this accurate, how can the jdm header give that kind of gain, when the jdm r's hp rating is almost the same as the USDM?

I'm running the Icebox along with the comptech header and exhaust and am puttin 170 down to the wheels

 

I personally have had both AEM and now Comptech ICEBOX. And I like the icebox much more. As far as dyno plots go, I think they make similar high end numbers, but the icebox has better midrange, if i remember correctly.

Also, the icebox sounds a hell of a lot more tuned and more deep. The AEM screams rhaspy and annoying loud in vtec IMO.

well said, I agree, I never used AEM, always stuck with comptech, but have heard plenty of AEM systems and I think they sound horrible. Some people swear they are the best out there but I don't think they are worth it at all.
