Default Heagasket question 85x92mm p2v problems.!

my valves and pistons are hittin each other
block has wiesco endyne piston 14.1cr
and the head is gsr head wit pro3s
using a 85mm .030 head gasket

my question is can i stack 2 stock gaskets and get away wit it. my head is milled possible .020 to .030. by stacking 2 it would be as i my head wasnt milled at all.

wat you guys think?

Instead of stacking two, why not just get one thicker gasket.

Did you degree in the pro 3's? if not you will have that problem.. We had to advance the ex cam 6-7 degree's on the gear.I have 10cc domes and no p to v issues.

Cometic makes custom gaskets all the way to .074.

Also Inlinepro.com (or something like that) makes 2 mm and 3mm head gaskets.

and...you can't wait for 2-3 weeks?? This is what happens when you put abig *** fucken cam in, with big *** fucken pistons... my suggestion wait, to be safe? or get some pro2's instead of pro3's.

How the hell do you know that? Id bet my left nut you didn't measure anything, who degreed your cams? If your able to degree cams properly why cant you measure piston to valve clearances?

Any idea what your valve to valve clearances are? Didn't think....

Leave the engine building to the guys who have a clue. It blows my mind why someone can drop the amount of money you have in a motor like yours their first time and expect it to be correct.

Thick head gasket, GSR cams (no clearance problems) and a turbo.

if your pistons are hitting your valves just by turning the motor over chances are you bent a valve doing this. better take the head off and check all the valves for straightness. id advice advancing the ex cam 1 more degree. 4 degrees seperation isnt enough on pro 3s

first of all you dont kno me so expletive you. my motor is fine. for those of you who think i bent the valves. the valves are straight as a arrow.

i love e-thugs you think your tuff behind a screen suck a dick come too my face and say sumthing.

you guys are so ****** cool

for anyone else the head is milled 30 thousandths i already know theres gunna be a clearence issue. hence why my title says headgasket question.

As recommended before, you can keep the headgasket you are using now, and advance the exhaust cam another couple degrees. The more advanced the exhaust cam, the sooner the valve closes in relation the the incoming piston = more P2V.

FWIW I have my Pro3's at +2/+5, installed on recommended Skunk2 centerlines (100/104).

To clear things up, when you say you degreed the cams in, did you use a degree wheel on the crank and dial fixtures to install the cams on the correct centerlines? or did you just install them at "TDC" and adjust the gears?

I have to add though, having P2V on the primaries, I would assume something isn't right. I've seen 8 degrees of clearance on BC5's with +11cc domes, and they have even more low-lift duration than Pro3's.
