So get this. The day started out fine about 3 weeks ago. Went to work at the dealership and then it was time for lunch. So I get into my car and pull out of the dealership and roll to the stop sign. And then it happened......

Some old fart in a 20 yr. old pickup he apparently didn't know how to drive decides to coast backward about 5 feet straight into my bumper. Then the little turd decides to drive off. So I get his plates and file a report. But I still have to go through my insurance. No biggie. Bad luck right? It gets worse!

THE NEXT DAY on my way to work somebody decides to throw some sort of soda can FULL of soda off an overpass and it lands on my roof corner putting a nice dent in it. DAMN!. THAT SAME DAY when I get off of work I noticed that somebody had apparently backed into the rear bumper of my car putting some un-sightly scratches into it. What else could go wrong?

So then 2 days later we have a nasty storm. And the trees beside my house have been known to drop a branch here and there. Well just my luck a good size branch falls flat on my hood embedding further damage to my car. Unbelievable!

So needless to say I have some work ahead as my plans for upgrading my header and exhaust have now been temporarily F**KED.

Hope this kind of rotten luck doesn't happen to any of you!

Sucks man... Hopefully insurance can cover it all at once. Tell them the guy backed into you and the tree he had in back of his truck fell on your hood and also pushed you into someone behind you who got mad and threw soda at you.

My insurance premium doesn't go up unless i'm at fault. And I might just skip going through insurance anyway. Since they were four separate incidents they might try to get me to pay four different deductibles. Not sure how that works exactly.

Well typically my car would be under the canopy I had setup. But my wife's idiotic brother decided to total his truck so for some weird reason they put it under MY canopy instead of having it towed to the junk yard. So I had to leave my car outside for 2 weeks while I was in California on my Annual Tour. 2 weeks later when I got back it was covered in bird **** and had the dent on the hood from the storm. Luckily the bird **** didn't eat the paint. All the other crap happened right before I left.

Good philosophy. . But I just finally got a bogus racing charge that happened 2 years ago dismissed (officer didn't show up in court). Last thing I want is to be investigated for insurance fraud. I think i've had enough bad luck.

Yes I know "shiet happens". It happens to all of us. I'm just thankful I still have a car that drives and only has minor damage and not a car that's completely totalled.

 

First - Have you ever done any of those things that you stated happened to you. If so, the law of what goes around comes back around works.

If not, then may I suggest you do what I do. I usually pray "Lord guide me today and put four angels around me: two in the front, two in the back, and one on the top and bottom".

Hey don't knock it till you try it.

It doesn't stop bug stains and stone chips though. Maybe that has something to do with how fast I am driving .

Like everyone else has stated - stuff happens. Hope things get better for you.

next week........... im broke, unexpected bills, virtually everythign bad in the world will happen to me.
than the next week....... some random hottie will hit me up, ill get an unexpected check, etc etc.

when good comes, bad follows. and repeat. just gotta hang in there.

well....... she keeps texing me. so i text back.

befor you know it, im 47 text's in with this chick, have no clue who she is. so i ask if she has a picture........

so she sends me one..........dude, SHES HOT!

so i send her one back..........

next thing i know, shes telling me im hot, wants to meet at my local mall.

so i go down there and the rest is history brotha.........

Damn. Now what are the odds of that?? Of all the people that change their number. And think....if you had waited even just an hour later or earlier to change your number you might have ended up with a different one.

The guy that coasted back into me and drove off had a trailer hitch on his truck and that's what stabbed into my bumper....causing this.....


Gotta love Mother Nature. She really knows how to throw you a curve ball right in the nuts!
