Default First auto cross in the R tomorrow...

I'm really looking forward to this.

I haven't run an auto cross in a few years. I used to terrorize H-Stock in my Civic, it was so much fun. I stopped going to them when I got the Audi (Because God knows, something would have broken), and I just haven't had time with the Type-R. Finally got some time, got some Millenia wheels with Azenis (Thanks Garrett), dug out my old magnetic numbers, Snell 95 rated helmet, and suction camera mount (Oh yes, in car footage will be up tomorrow ). It's going to be a good time.

From the registration list, it looks like I'm the only Wilmington Type-R owner running in this thing.

What group are you running with Cameron? G-Stock?

I'll post up pictures and video after the event.

Awesome!!!!
AutoX completely changed everything about my driving, mod selection, and aspirations for the caR. Hopefully it'll do the same for you. Go out and have fun. Get with some experienced drivers, see how they do it and try to take away some of their knowledge and apply it to your own.

I finally have an AutoX tommorow too.

If I drive the the s2k I will be in A stock....

If i run the ITR I will run D stock....

I am hoping to bring the eazy-up....however, it might not fit in the s2k....

The experts recommend *****-to-the-wall every run, only do it "smoothly". If you don't drive as fast as you can on the first few runs, then you won't know where to slow down/speed up the remaining runs.

Some of the really good guys on 'medium' difficulty courses can lay down their best times the 2nd run or so. I know a few times I've nailed my first run on some courses and could have just packed up after that as I had my class covered and I didn't improve much the remaining runs because of the lack of technical details in the course design.

A Stock is pretty competitive for the S2K and the ITR OWNS D Stock, if that helps any.

Well ****... Got the car loaded up a few hours ago after getting off work, and I thought, "Hmmm, I better check/adjust the pressure in the Azenis" (I don't know why I didn't think to check them before now). Adjusted 3 tires to 35psi, got the last tire... No pressure... Uh oh... Started feeding air, and all I heard was a loud hissing noise.

The last tire had a nice 3mm tear in the sidewall. F*CK! So I've got 3 good tires, and 1 bum one. And the irony of the situation, I've got 2 BRAND NEW Falken Azenis 205/50/15 sitting in my warehouse... If I had thought to check the tires before today, I could have gotten the new ones mounted, to replace the 1 bum tire. Let me emphasize, the bum tire is in no way crxgator's fault, he gave me a killer deal on the tires/wheels, and I should have checked the tires before fully commiting to this event.

This was literally the straw that broke the horses back for me. I can't believe how badly I just lost it, I must have broken a few hundred dollars worth of **** in the garage... I'm calm now, but this was seriously the top off to the worst week of the year.

1. Lost two of my biggest accounts in the same day. Roughly $50,000-60,000 worth of sales a year, $20,000-$25,000 profit a year, gone.
2. Busiest week of the year delivery wise.
3. Hottest week of the year, and what do you know, the A/C went out in the big delivery van (The one I had to use all week). So I've been delivering in 110-120degree weather all week.
4. I've been very sick all week.
5. My father went out of town on Friday, so I had to deal with receiving every single mother ******* truck (About 6), and as luck had it, none of them had lift gates, and 2 of them didn't even have pallet jacks, so every single truck had to be unloaded by hand (Roughly about 2,000 pieces per load, about 4-5 pallets. Multiply that by 6). Then I had to load up for deliveries, and head out before lunch time hit.
6. None of the deliveries went right, purchase orders were placed wrong.
7. The largest delivery of the day ordered the wrong items (Not my fault). So instead of receiving 50 cases of roll towel/15 cases of toilet tissue, he received 50 cases of toilet tissue/15 roll towels. So I had to take back the remainder, head back to the warehouse across town, reload, rerun the invoices, change the paper work, and run back out... And they're gone for lunch... Instead of unloading everything back at the warehouse, and making the rest of my deliveries, I waited. Lost 2 hours.
7. I was delivering until 7:30pm on Friday (Keep in mind, no A/C, sick, exhausted, and every muscle in my body is sore)
8. This damn baby squirrel I found (He's only a few weeks old) will not eat, dispite my hardest attempts over the past few days, and I'm on the verge of chucking his *** into the woods.
9. I woke up yesterday morning with a weird feeling in my throat, like a bubble of air lodged in my throat. I thought it would go away, it hasn't. Something is damn lodged in my throat, I can't eat, I can't drink, even talking hurts incredibly, and I have to wait until Monday to go the doctor and find out what's going on.
10. Went to a Subaru meet today in town, I knew a bunch of people out there. Well, I didn't notice until after I left, but some smart *** decided a Type-R at the Subaru meet wasn't right in his mind. ****** KEYED MY GOD DAMN CAR. I'm not pissed about the paint, I'm pissed about the princible of the matter. Whatever, it's just an excuse to get the caR painted now.
11. Get to my second job tonight, and we get absolutely raped. Busiest night of the year, record setting... I was the last kitchen guy to get out of there, I was on the verge of walking out at 9:00pm tonight and quiting, but I have too much work ethic for that.
12. I leave, and my TPS completely goes nuts, I couldn't move the car without it shutting off. Finally, it came back to a drivable state, and I was able to limp home.
13. This **** happened.

There are MANY other things that have gone wrong this week, these are just the major ones, or the ones I haven't forgotten about in a fit of rage.

So, I'm not running tomorrow. Maybe this was for the best, who knows, something could have gone horribly wrong... Whatever, trying to be optimistic when all I want to do is take a sledge hammer to something valuable/important.

I've got a case of Budweiser I stole from work, I'm getting drunk, good night. OH WAIT, my throat has a damn bone or some **** lodged in it... Welp, guess I gotta' down a few real quick to numb it away.

Damn Jordan, guess you could call that hell week. Definitely wouldn't be the week to do anything ELSE in a car, especially auto cross it. Relax tomorrow and you'll have a better week. No matter what right?

That's the plan... I haven't had a day off in 6 months, I just realized that.

It's not your fault at all man, it was my fault for not checking the tires before assuming they were straight. For the price you sold them to me for, I can't complain about ****.

If I had seen him do it, I'd be getting out of county jail right about now... I'm glad I didn't see it happen, I'm glad I saw it when I had time to think about it, and realize it wasn't worth flipping out over.

I think I'm just going to stay in bed today, and do nothing.
