running rich on C5 ...what now?
i have a p61 chipped ecu, "custom burn" zero daze chip from previous owner.
i want to make it right, would tunning do this, or would placing a stock chip back be a fast reliable fix? the previous guy ran a VAFC and leaned it out BUT i do not know how to use/setup/work a VAFC so i do not wanna mess up my engine....
I know that tunning is my best bet, but to get a tune i have to travel over 4 hours (closest dyno/ tunning)
still learning.......
so whats my next step?
setup
2001 b18c5 w/ obd0 injectors (stock) need at least 388 i know
obd1 dizzy
itr cams
ctr os pistons (12.6:1 cr)
bored .25 over
Vortech fuel rail and FPR
skunk2 IM
Outlaw Engineering intake spacer and TB spacer
OE 4 wire o2 sensor
j1 trans
(i am sure some are familiar with this list)
91 crx hf

An old school Hondata staged system will work with OBD0 cars. Or you can convert to OBD1 and run the S100. You just need to find a tuner. The 4 hour trip will be worth it if it's tuned correctly.

it is obd1, its a p61 ecu, obd1 dizzy, with rywire conversion harnesses i keep the obd0 injectors becuase i would have to remove the resistor box from the car and i dind't wanna YET

There ya go! Crome or Hondata S100.

i can believe you are running ctr's with no tuning. im surprised you havent you havent blown anything up yet.</TD></TR></TABLE>
it is tuned with a zero daze chip ... same ecu to same engine it was tuned for..... the only difference is that he was using a VAFC to lean it out as i stated ....
so what are you talking about?!
i will be getting a street tune with neptune this week hopefully for the rest of the season then storing the car and full dyno tune at the begining of summer next year... thanks

this is what im talking about...
the fact that your motor is actually running rich on stock injectors with ctr pistons is actually amazing to me. its just a bold move, thats all im saying.
