Default 88-89 chargespeed lip on sedan?

will the 88-89 chargespeed lip fit on the 88-89 sedan front bumper? sorry if this is a stupid question! im just not sure if the sedan bumpers are the same size as the hatch.

Don't do it! unless you're willing to put the jdm Si-R front bumper [or ZC] on ur sedan; the lip will not fit......the guy at the griffith park meet had the ZC front end [plz correct me if i'm wrong]... that is how his lip fit correctly.

again....correct me if i'm wrong

THe 88-89 sedan fron is shorter on the bottom and the 90-91 is wider.. I found this out when I got a lip off Jon's 90-91 front and I had to cut it to fit my 88 front

Please feel free to correct me if you think that im wrong, but theres no such thing as a ZC front end. When people say ZC front end they usually refer to the only two things different on a 'ZC' front end.

1) it has a small raised section on the hood, which heaps with hood clearance because of the extra cam

2) it has single globe headlights. Which for whatever reason people think that single globe headlights are from a car with a ZC engine. The single globe headlights came on almost every EF outside of the states. In 90 here in australia the EF was facelifted like it was everywhere and single globe headlights were part of that facelift.

Apart from those two differences, please someone tell me what makes a front end ZC. Because im close to positive that its just a myth.

EDIT: and that EF sedan at the top of the page has neither of the aforementioned points, so i dunno why that would be called ZC. ZC is an engine stamp people!

Does anyone have anymore pics of this car or info? It looks pretty bad, and I like those wheels. They look like Drag DR-24.

Check up the part numbers for the 1988 Sedan/1988 Civic hatch. Pretty sure they're the same (someone looked up the part numbers for me a few months back). Just check on any online parts stores. If they're the same, then the 88-89 chargespeed lip will fit .

Yep, just checked for you: Part numbers 87177 match up for the 88-89 sedans and hatchbacks. A lot of misinformation in this thread .
