i have a 1999 honda accord v6 2dr. i was recently driving an my battery light came on and the light that indicate the doors and trunk are open too. so i check the manual and it says that the battery isn't charging. but like two sec later as i was drving everything was back to normal. does anyone know what the hell is going on?

 

Many of the 6th gen Accord V6 came with the Delphi alternator, which was not a very good alternator. It may be ready to go...

 

it most likely means your alternator started to fail n kicked itself back in and will go dead on you very soon....replace it before hand

as for the door lights n all they come on when the electrical system does....thus the alternator kicking back in

 

any ideas of what type of alternater to get and where?
