I have to finish the pro series in Forza, no time for track weekends.

Wait, oh yeah, my car will be in a non-drivable state.....

Bring your helmet if you wish, lots of joy rides will be handed out.

If you can handle the massive 78whp EG, you can ride in my bucket. The cool part is Shenandoah's the best track for low HP kars. GT3's and C5's haven't a clue why a chitbox civic is on their *** with the highbeam relay clicking so fast, smoke is emitting out of the steering column.

Horsepower is for people that can not drive.

P.S. If you choose to ride with Don (Mrlegoman), you'll most likely break the space time continuum and die.

P.S.S. The Hampton Inn will burn badly that weekend.

That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said about my driving.

That track is so much fun to drive! I've been around there in all kinds of cars - the '07 911 had to be the most fun. Except for having to downshift into 2nd in the Carousel - that was a bit tricky for the first lap or two. But the car needed it to climb the hill, so I learned quickly. To the amazement of the car owner who was my passenger!

How does Car Guys run their events? Are all the instructors "hired" or do they use volunteer labor? How many run groups? Classroom time?

Thanks for the info.

</TD></TR></TABLE>They run a tight ship. Depending on the run group, even two wheels off require you to pit in and talk to the controller. 4 off and you get a 5 minute penalty in the pits to think things over. They make it very clear that it is a driving school and not race practice. I do not believe they even allow lap timers unless your in an advance group.
4 run groups (green,yellow,white, instruct.)
I'm not 100% on the instructors. I think they work for free track time.
You get about 2 hours of track time per day. Sometime a little more on Sundays because a lot of people go home early and they'll start to combine the advance and instructor run groups.
Anywhere from 25-45 minute sessions. A lot less hectic then a NASA event and you don't have to worry about your run group getting cut short so they can keep the Legend race on time.

Then I had to rip all my interior chit out, including all the gauges, cd player, XM, turbo timer, kill switch, auto door locks, and indeglo dash gauges. So the interior is ready for a full cage. Hoping to make the GT Live event.

I'm keeping all the interior pieces handy. We'll see what all fit when I get the car back. Debating on putting the carpet back in or not.
