Default Those with Del Sol seats...

How much lower do you sit in them, and how do you like them?

If anyone has any pictures, that would be nice...I'm not the tallest guy and I am worried about the height to be honest. Am I going to be sitting on back issues of MotorTrend or is it doable?

You wont be dissappointed. At first I thought they were going to be so so since they weren't reclinable boy was I wrong...they fit very snug and you sit at least 1 inch lower. The seat is much lower so that I couldn't put my cd changer under the seat anymore. HTH

One more thing...before with the integra seats I could feel the cushion push against my hamstrings, but with the del sol seats its perfect. I am 5'8" though.

I love my Delsol's they are great seats (can't beat the price vs. quality either) They are designed by Recaro as far as I know. They do sit you noticably lower in the car and your rear vision is slightly altereed (I have a 4dr teg tho). They fit great, give a firmer hold in the corners, but don't intrude as much as full race style seats... but the best feature is that they are quite a bit thinner than stock teggies, so you get increased leg room in the rear seats (people WILL notice). I am 6 ft. and one of my friends is 5'5" and he has no quams about the driving my car with those seats.

X2 gives Del Sol seats

BTW smeister... my seats recline... which del sols are you using ?

I'm about 5'7, maybe 5'8...I sat in a buddies seats today...I do like them a lot.

Im still not too satisfied on how everything matches up/looks, but ideally Id like some support for AutoX without getting full out racing seats (damn woman..."not on the integra!")

Thanks guys, any more is appreciated

Oh, and I believe the seat portion on the seats is a bit shorter than the teg. Overall postitioning will change slightly...so will grip on the stick, view of the stock gauges and you'll have to adjust your rearview and side mirrors.

delslow seats are sweet seats.... they hug your body tighter than the gsr seats. They do sit lower, but then you just look like your ridin hard! LOL, just get em...

just wondering about how easy it is to maintain the delsol seats. do the covers come off easy for cleaing like the teg seats?

know of any aftermarket cover replacements? e.g. katzkin (sp?) ideally i want them to be leather along with the rest of the interior.

Just get 'em re-upholstered... shouldn't cost more than ... oh wait... leather ? ouch... bling bling... like $400 ! Forget the leather... it's too heavy anyways !

i can't complain too much about mine. I picked up my set for 150 and sold my integra seats for 400 2-3 years ago so you really can't beat them for the price. side support is much better than the integra seats and you get used to the lower seating, but you can't rest your arm on the door if you get lazy because you're a little lower. mine recline, but the passanger seat doesn't move forward automatically like the integra seats when you hit the recline lever to get in the rear seats. if you want something a little more lateral support and can't get racing seats, then I would definately recommend the del sols.

Good question about the weight

Alright, what the hell...and you just reuse the stock Integra rails with the Del Sol seats, correct?

i think they are pretty good seats... they feel very comfortable.. and they do sit lower then the regular seats.. it will take some adjusting.. you tend to sit more straight up with the del sol seats becuase its lower, you can sit back as far...

for the ppl in hte back.. del sol seats are bad because they can barely put their feet underneath.. it drops significantly..

it is very snug... i like them..

i'm 6'1/6'2 and i like them....

Anyone have a general idea about weight? About the same as stock teg seats? alittle less? alot less?

One of the advantages to racing seats is there lightweight.

I am dumb...my seats did recline...I sold them and just forgot.

The seats are noticably lighter than the integra seats, I just dont know by the exact pounds.

ive been trying to find a pair for a reasonable price for forever
anyways another question i know you should swap the integ rails over
is there a way to swap the whole bottom section so that you ahve the "roll-up" feature for when you have to have passengers in the rera?!?!

I thought so too...I think the thighs are more supportive, but in terms of back support, its almost as if the Sols are a smaller width. The side bolsters hug you much better.

But I think that width difference lends to its odd shape and strange look
