Aftermarket Steeringwheel, Horn Hook up
i searched and it seems alot had this problem and no one really answered it, maybe we can get lucky this time around.
Got an after market steering wheel and hub, the hub only came with one red wire to hook up to the horn but thats it.. Would the other wire be a ground? if so could i just ground it and it work?
if no then anyone know a step to step guide on how to get the horn to work on an after market steering wheel, i don't want to fail inspection. i thought i saw one a while back but i can't find it now
thanks for any input

youre going to fail inspection anyways because you took off the Airbag. The red wire was supposed to connect in the back of your steering wheel. There should also be a black one or something for a ground. Give it a shot
texas doesnt require to have airbags in ur car for inspection as long as SRS light isnt on, already emailed them about it. thanks though.

Honda's have a negative triggering horn wire. Find that wire first if you haven't already. Once you've done that check to see if there is continuity (a connection) between the two wires coming off the steering wheel when you press the horn button. If there is a connection then all you should have to do is ground one of the wires and hook the other up to the factory horn trigger. Hope that helps you. Let us know what happens. Good luck!
