Default ls-vtec in 2000 civic si questions

ok i just bought my wife a 2000 SI shell and i am gona put a ls-vtec in it i just need to know a few things i have read the write up and that helped alot but i have wiring question and ecu selection. The shell still has all the wiring and the stock si ecu.

i really want to keep all the wiring without cut anything i just need a list of things that would help me run this engine best as in ecu or hondata or whatever and the easiest way to do it without cutting any wires. and also if i was go down to odb1 what all would i need because since i have all the odb2 wiring i was gona use a odb2 distributer. just some one let me know what would be the best thing to do here and the easiest.

thanks in advance.

All you need is an OBD1 to OBD2 conversion harness, someone's probably selling them on here, so do a search in the classifieds. Look for a P28 ecu (92-95 civic ex/si) and you can run Hondata from that.
