Default VTEC RPM

Has anyone experimented with engaging the VTEC at a lower RPM ? If so, how did it work out and how was it accomplished ?

every car reacts different.. without the tuning aid of a dyno theres no way in knowing the sweet spot for 1 certain car!

yea, set vtec at 2800 rpm... it does wonders... who needs the standard 5800 rpm partial engagement and 6k full engagement that honda spent tons of R&D on to figure it out

Yeah he's right! This topic should have been continued under my "Anyone one running a VAFC?" thread!

iirc lowest you can change vtec for high cam is at 4500rpm.

aem ems for rediculously low vtec engagement but its worthless.
