Default p28 ecu?

Option is pick up a p28 chip and crome ready or buy a stock p28 and go from there?

What are the good and bad of the options?
Motor is NA LSV..

Plus theres so many chip out there when i ask about the chip /crome stuff the owner that selling it dont even know anything about it he just said its setup to run his NA LSV. works fine and make about 187 hp on the dyno.

Could someone explain Crome. He said its the older version.
Anyways could i just run the stock p28 and do a decent street tune and later upgrade it to hondata s100?

Crome to hodata would not be an upgrade, thats downgrading.
did you already buy an ecu?

im still trying to find a p28 ecu.. my options on the market is a p28 with crome or a p28 stock.

if i could run the stock and later go with hondata s100 then i will buy the stock p28 ecu. if i cant run it stock on my lsv then i will go with the the p28 with crome .

hopefully you understand me know.

LSV? Do you mean LS-Vtec? Somehow I would think you wouldn't want a P28 for this. Correct me if wrong. Isn't the P72 more suited for this setup?

a stock ECU is not going to run a LS-VTEC setup correctly.
a chipped P28 (or P06 with VTEC added) will run anything that's on the chip. Crome is an easy cheaper option that works fine.

Id suggest getting a p28 with Crome. i do not suggest getting s100. why? that ***** free... CROME. lol.
i can set you up with a p28 with a program by CROME that was tuned for a ls-v.
was my buddys car, had b18b block and a itr head, with intake header and an exhaust. probly your best option for the price. 150$ with the pre tuned ls-v program. lmk PM
