my ac works but not cold enough.i am sure there is no leak anywhere
but i have disasemble the ac system a few times and the ac dryer/receiver has been exposed in the air a few times and it is at least 7 years old.
and ac is not put back together yet because i just did the b swap last weekend
since i am going to the ac recharged by a professional shop anyways.
might as well as get a new ac dryer/receiver? ($51 from advance auto parts)
advise please.

well if the system is open now, you might as well replace the receiver/drier.
