Default car almost stolen in Orlando florida.....

My roomate woke me up at about 5:20 this morning on his way to school saying that my car was missing. I got up to see that my car was actually gone. I called the cops immediately. A few seconds after my cousin drove off he called me again saying that my car was on the other end of the parking lot of our apartment complex. I ran there as fast as I could, and sure enough my car was sitting there with the driver side door wide open. After quickly checking my car I see that my steering column had been broken and they took some misc things from my car such as speakers, intake, radiator etc...

After what seemed like an eternity standing there, the cops finally came and I gave them my report. The cops told me they never heard of a case like mine before where the stolen vehicle ended up in the same parking lot. I was lucky that my car is still here, and that's thanks to the multiple kill switches that I have. I guess the low lifes who were trying to steal my car couldn't get it started so they pushed it down the parking lot so they could steal some of my other ****. I'm sooooo pissed right now but I'm just glad that my car is still here. So I guess I'm just telling everyone to put some security or at least kill switches on their cars if you don't have them already and be sure to turn them on every night. low life thieves.

My car's a '92 civic hatch, just incase anybody cares.

And I was thinking of moving down to Tampa. Now I may have to rethink that idea.

I used to live by tampa and had no problem. Ever since I moved to orlando since last year I had my car broken into once and now this. A few months ago one of my friend's civic got stolen too. I gotta move out of orlando. This place sucks ***.

Glad to hear your car is back with you... Err I would be so angry. Up here in Jacksonville, Fl I havent had any problems with car theft. I live downtown pretty much so I have a lot of cops roaming my streets which is nice when it comes to car theft.

Civics get stolen all the time. And if they are found at all, they are usually stripped of EVERYTHING and/or in pieces.

He is very lucky.

Hey OP, what kill switches did you install on your car??? My Viper alarm has a starter kill, backup battery and proximity sensor, and I'm installing a fuel pump kill this weekend. Are there any others you would recommend???
