I recently installed a CAI on my civic. The o-ring grommet for the air sensor was way way way too small. After getting bs'd around by tech support, I decided to write them a letter and attached the part to the letter. Just five minutes ago a package came in for me here at work. Inside was a letter apologizing for my troubles, the correct size part, and a "complementary aluminum AEM wire cover! Yee-haw! Sending a hand written complaint sometimes works. AEM is truly a great company IMO. The funnier thing is that I wanted to buy one of these anyway, but I always put it off because they are too much money.

I got no toy in my box of lucky charms so i sen them aleter and they sent me another box of lucky charms.... So i opened it up and there wasn't a toy in that one either so I sent another letter and they sent another box and still no toy so sent another letter saying not to send anymore lucky charms I just want the toy and wel this haas been going on since i was eight. I'm 25 now and I hate lucky charms and i still haven't gotten my toy...

But what I really want to know is how you came to the conclusion that AEM is truley a great company? Is that because they sent you something for free? But you said yourself that you were getting hassled and jacked around by tech-support and that your "grommet" didn't fit correctly.

just got a dyno on the free wire cover, it added 23 hp at the ground. And yes I am king of the Dickweeds.

 

No way man. Paint if black and re-dyno and see how much it puts out now.

i think everyone is taking this anti-rice thing a little too far. He got a free product from a reputible company. The only reason he was being a dick was b/c everyone was getting on his case about getting something for free. Hello people, he didnt spend money on it you ****** retards!!!
