Just did a b16 swap into my EF. When turning key to the on position I don't hear the fuel pump.. when trurning over i don't get a spark either.. I get no codes on the ecu and the check engine light comes on and stays on.. Shouldn't the check engine light turn on and recycle if there are any problems? I have a Hasport DX to SIR converted harness and sub harness. I believe everything is plugged in right in the engine bay.. i'm pretty sure it's plugged in right at the ecu. Please help!!!!!

 

when i did mine i had a ground not hocked up and the battery termenals wernt tight pluss i had a blown fuse under the dash. so check those

 

you have to check the codes on the ecu!!! the check engine light only blinks on 92+ cars!!

the 88-91 you check the codes on the ecu. my friends b16, there is no LED light on the ecu to check the codes anymore. on my ecu conversion harness place racing made. i have a switch on it, click it one way the check engine light stays on, the other way it flashes codes. but i have changed everything to OBD-1 and run a 95 ex motor, so ....... good luck
