ok here is the run down. the fuel pump was bad so we replaced it with a walbro and then injectors went out. replaced those... now when we go to start car it cranks cranks cranks and eventuallly it will go to start then the engine light comes on and trys to catch on fire.. once it did..

to much fuel is comming out of exhaust..

motor: obd0-ls
ecu: obd0-ls

 

Was this car previously a DPFI? If so, who did your MPFI swap, and do you have an injector resistor.

previously was dpfi. we did it
and yes it has resistor box

 

Are you getting spark?

 

yes sir it was

it has caught on fire??!?

has the car ever run properly since the mpfi swap?

 

the swap was just done.. iam guesing its the regulator possible.. or the resister box being bad...

 

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? is it a adj fuel reg?

 

no its a factory regulator... it might of blown the seal out from sitting just like the injectors

 

installed the regulator... and it starts now.. but the new injectors someone sold us was bad to.. so looks like we getting another set of injectors
