FS: 1991 Flint Black CRX Si, only 110k miles
Flint Black 1991 CRX Si
109,900 miles (engine runs perfectly).
All parts stock except Hawk HPS pads and Brembo blank rotors
Maintained regularly: - Oil changed with Penzoil 5W30 conventional every 3,000 miles
- Hatch shocks replaced at 87k
- Tune-up at 93k (plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, etc.)
- Muffler replaced at 95k
- New tires at 103k
- Radiator flushed with Prestone at 106k
- New upper radiator hose at 106k
- Transmission fluid drained and filled at 108k
- Fuel injector and fuel system cleaning service performed at 108k
- No cracks in dashboard or steering wheel
-Both seats are in near-perfect condition (no tears in either)
Defects: - A few dings, dents, and paint chips common to any 16-year old car
- Front axle needs to be replaced, but car is drivable (both CV boots are torn)
- Passenger-side rear brake caliper, pad and rotor need to be replaced
- Cargo cover needs to be re-assembled (I had to take it apart to fix a leak in the hatch. All pieces are included, though a few screws are missing).
- Rear bumper support is rusty
- Rust is just starting to bubble up on rear driver's-side wheel well
- Needs AC belt and AC recharge
- Washer fluid tank removed
- Rear windshield wiper removed
- Speakers need replacing (4 Polk speakers included—see below)
Parts included (uninstalled): - 4 Tokico HP shocks with Nuespeed springs (used)
- Front axle (used)
- 4 Polk Audio 6.5" and 5.25" speakers (brand new, unopened)
This is a perfect project or parts car with tons of life left in it. I bought it two years ago with 87k miles on it for $3000. I love this car and it breaks my heart to sell a nearly rust-free '91 Si with only 110k on the clock, but I'm moving and have to sell. Asking $1600 or best offer.
• I’ll be out of town until Sunday, but feel free to call or email if you want to stop by and check out the car.
