Default cold air intake worth it?

is a cold air intake really worth it without an exhaust, perfromance wise? wouldn't you be building backpressure?

No, it's not really worth it, unless you like hearing added noise. You won't see any decent power numbers for the money spent.

It wouldn't really build back pressure, since an aftermarket intake usually uses a more open-flow design.

PS. Search next time, this has been covered before.
