need some guidence

i want to be in the racing sence and the problem i am having is i have no clue on how to get there so ive turned to ht because i want to race hondas. so can someone help me step by step id like to get some sponsors too so if anyone knows how to or is looking for someone to sponsor hit me up i need help yall thanks

Start with HPDE and go meet other racers. NASA is a good place to start.

nasanortheast.com and nasaracing.net for Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Also read Dave Gran's book, a good primer on how to get started wheel-to-wheel racing.

and Sponsors are the least of your concerns and I ahte to break it too you but its more then likely nobody will sponsor you if you dont have any racing experience

Go to an event in your region or within a couple hours of your home and just hang out and meet some people. It will suck you in pretty fast. As stated above both have posted GREAT info.

Why would anyone sponsor you? Ask yourself that, and if you can find an answer, maybe you'll have sponsors.

Most club racers are minimally sponsored, like discounts on parts or labor, etc. There's contingency money for winning, sometimes. No one is breaking even at this game though, it's a money losing proposition for sure.
