2000 honda accord SE transmission problem?
Hi, new to HT but i got a problem with my 2000 honda accord SE. I recently noticed that when I'm coming to a stop and i start to accelerate again, my car kinda jerks. This only happens when i slow down to like 20mph or less and gas again. I hold the gas smooth and steady and then it jerks. Any ideas of what's wrong with my car?
under 109K and 7 years 9 months from in service date? If so, it is covered under warranty as long as car is not salvage. Do it quick as time is just about up on 2000 accords
flush transmission fluid(do not power flush - just drain and fill) put 3qrt of Honda ATF.
then
check shift solenoid - measure the resistance between the No.1 and No.2 terminals of the shift solenoid valve you should have 12 to 25 ohms.
if the resistance within the standard connect the No.2 terminal of the solenoid connector to the battery positive terminal, and No.1 terminal to the ground (battery negative). A clicking sound should be heard.
Replace the shift solenoid if no clicking sound is heard.
if you still have the same issue then...
2nd clutch pressure switch defective
foreign material in separator plate orifice
shift valve C defective
1st accumulator defective
2nd accumulator defective
1st check ball stuck
2nd check ball stuck
1st clutch defective
2nd clutch defective
time to rebuild or new one if you have $$$ else (look around your junk yard) - Junk yard is good - I found my engine under 30K for $900.00 bucks and run like brand spanking new.

that isn't going to solve his problem as the internal filter is clogged. take it to the dealer and they will replace it
