Default 96 Accord Camber Kit ???

Do I need a camber kit when lowering my 96 accord approximately 2 inches all around. I am getting TEIN basic coilovers. Later on I might decide to go lower.

I read that Ingalls has the best camber kits for our cars. Where can I buy the camber kit if I need one?

Also I have been looking for a comprehensive DIY guide for installing the coilovers myself. Where is one located?

Thanks in advance

This may be true till you hit something at the wrong angle or going too fast. Camber kits are not needed but they help align your tires on the ground. for instance, if you were driving this is your tire flat on the ground | || where as "camber wear happens when your tire is driving on its side \ \|. basically the tires is not flat on the ground. I lowered my 97 accord months and months ago with no camber kit but i went int to align my tires and there is no way to adjust it because of not having a camber kit. Like i said, i do not have one and neither does he but i will get one when i have some spare cash.

lol

you don't go in to have the camber adjusted with an alignment, you go in to have the TOE adjusted which is the angle of the tire parallel to the ground / \ or / / or \ \ or \ / causes more wear on the tires than camber.

my car is sitting probably at like -4o camber and is fine because my toe is in balance (it's | |)

Alignment is for camber and toe. If your car is able to be adjusted then they can adjust camber.

Also does anyone know if you need to buy 2 camber kits. One for front and one for the rear?

How about that DIY guide for coilover install?

Caster and Toe are the major things that get aligned.

Camber is not adjustable on 5th gens without a kit.

Depending on what kit you get it varies. sometimes you need 2 2packs, other times if you get the ball joints you'd just need 2 for front.

Rear camber do the washer trick

for ALL of it read the accord faq
