come on now, i know someone knows something about this!

i'm guessing the door pin switch is the button to tell that the door is open? Will I be using the wires off of that switch?

wow, those alarms are a pain in the ***. ive done 4 of them for myself and friends.

http://64.85.6.121/diagrams/pr...eID=3

ive never done it on that car tho. the diagram i found says its in the driver side kick panel. it also says its a negitive trigger. id suggest goin to a honda dealer, tell them what ur doing and what you need and they should be able to print you a better diagram. and yes thats so the alarm knows if the door is open or not. so if the system is armed and the door opens it will set off the alarm. good luck. id say do some more research tho.

Here's your info your looking for:

HONDA, CIVIC, 1996, Door Trigger

Light Green with a red stripe / it is negative trigger

Also found in the green factory alarm plug located behind the radio.

Can also be found in a light green plug above the fuse box or bottom of driver kick, harness to rear.
