fellow itr owners, please help me price my itr for sale.
ok so i need some assitance in coming up with a fair yet reasonable price to sell my itr
i'll tell you about it first and then i'll post some pics.
2001 acura integra type r.
original owner 24,066 miles on the chassis.
the car has been parked under a cover in my garage for 5 years, since may 21, 2002.
mods are as following
H&R coilover strut assemblies
skunk 2 camber adjusting upper control arms up front and adjustable links in the rear
new cross drilled / slotted brembo rotors up front
new hawk pads all around
5 star rsx 16" wheels with brand new nitto 450 tires all around
clifford alarm
pioneer double din radio (also have the stock radio)
i have recently ordered and installed a jdm itr swap in imaculate condition.
all wiring is done to factory specs and is so clean few would even be able to notice anything was even done. the car is using the jdm ecu that came with the swap. no check engine lights, no dtc codes at all.
maintenace done to the car is
new exedy clutch with exedy chromoly flywheel
new timing belt, water pump, tensioner, cam seals.
new oil pan with new pan gasket
new plugs, distributor, dist. rotor
ac has new dryer and a fresh charge.
new fuel filter
new air filter
new drive belts
brand new acura battery
new fuel pump complete with a fresh cleaning of the fuel tank.
new clutch master and slave cylinder with new fluid.
fresh brake fluid flush
all new fluids.
honda trans fluid, honda coolant, mobil 1 synthetic engine oil with new honda oil filter
new valve cover gasket with new spark plug seals
fresh valve adjustment
throttle body clean an adjusted to the t
comptech cat back exhaust with test pipe.
the cars condition is excelent for its age. the paint has really one year of use and was washed and waxed even when it was stored away. the car was gareges kept since day one. it never slept one night outside.
interior is about 90-95 outof a 100. i had seat covers on it since almost new (they were sold while the car was stored)
car has never been crashed, but if you do a carfax it does show something. what really happened was the car was 2 weeks old when some ******* cut me off so close he scratched the front left side of my bumper. i was so pissed i made a report but now realize it was not a good idea.
all the work was done by myself. i am a honda certfified tech with over 163 honda certs. my main objective was to do all the work as clean as possible, to look as good as stock if not better. attention to detail was number 1.
the cons.
rear metal panel that goes between the rear lights and rear bumper is dented due to some guys whpo washed it once and left the e brake down and not in gear, it rolled into a bumper parked behind it. i do have the new piece from honda it just needs to be pianted and installed and a sticker needs to be put on it. i have planned to do that and still might.
front left side of the bumper has small scratches on it from the stroy i mentioned above.
i do not have the type r stocks even though i can get my hands on them if it will up the price of my car bymore than a thousand dollars.
thats pretty much it. now for the pictures
thank you in advanced for the help guys, please keep flaming to yourselves. i've worked to hard these past days to get this to where its at.

IMHO, the stock wheels would make the car a lot more favorable. And even if you can't get a hold of the stock wheels, some JDM stockers would be great. White or Gunmetal would up the value.
also, why was the original motor swapped out? Whoever is looking to buy this will want to know.

I'd try and find some stock wheels and sell it with those. I'd say $18,000-$20,000 though. Those RSX wheels suck though.
Edit: Nevermind I guess you weren't done with the post when I actually read it. I'd say $15,000-$16,000.

in the current state, 15k easily. Maybe 16k.
With the stock wheels, 16k for sure, and if you have all the "little" things touched up and fixed, AND there is a good reason why the factory motor isn't in there, then a solid 16.5k

That's probably about right, definitely get some stock wheels if you can and give a reason for the engine as stated above.

stock engine was a victim to cold air intake and water puddle hyrdo locking. i took the engine out a proceeded to build a crazy all motor set up. i have since lost interest in finishing the engine so i bought the itr swap. i also have the stock original engine swap and all the accompanies it for sale also. needs a few parts to finsich but thats a whole other thread.
i can get some stockers on it. though the only set available to me locally has new tires and the owner wats a trand for them. i might just have to jump on them... witht he swap and all the parts alone i have over 6 grand in it, not counting the endless hours of labor... so im weary of throwing more money into it and not yeilding more value to it.
i had a guy offer me 10 grand for it when it was engine less. so i dont want to go to far off of what he offered me, i might just kick myself in the *** if so.
thanks for the input
more constructive cirticism and opinions are welcomed.

i guess i was afraidn of finishing that craszy motor set up and not really getting much more out of it. i figured i'd keep it or sell it seperately and recover some loot.
I just read that you have a test pipe, you may want to include your stock exhaust and cat or buy a cat that will fit so that the person who buys it can pass emissions
I agree with the others. Even though it's a low-mileage ITR, it's lost value due to the engine being replaced. The crappy looking RSX wheels (no offense) and the dent, plus, some paint scratches, I see, don't help, either. And I would try to put the suspension back on, too, if you have it.
IMHO, I'd say you'd get around $14-16k for it, as is.

Too bad you fixed heR up just to sell. Any chance you can keep and enjoy heR....maybe make it to Expo?
Definitely a clean R! My guess is $14-16k as well with heR original swap included. Hopefully she keeps heR number matching parts.
Is that badge # 01-1151?
